Mama Mary

Tropical Storm, Edouard, was a refreshing change of pace. Cooler temps, rain and Dad got to stay home from work! He did some great hurricane prep and packed our entire patio into our garage along with both cars! It was an impressive site! I almost felt bad when we didn't even lose a tree limb from the storm. I now know he could always get a job with a storage company. The things you learn about each other in marriage! :) Curls enjoyed splashing in the puddles in her cowboy boots.

Curls and I went to lunch at Mama Mary's on Wednesday. Curls was a hit in the dining room! She was flirting with everyone. Doesn't my grandma look fabulous?! Curls and Slugger adore her. Slugger thinks it is so cool that Mama Mary has a restaurant, post office, beauty shop and movie theatre where she lives! :) I am so grateful they have a close relationship with their great grandma. What a treasure she is to our family and so many!

Curls has had 102 fever off and on all day. Yes, I took her to the Dr and no, she didn't have an ear infection. Her throat was very red but no strep. Just a viral bug that I hope is gone by tomorrow.

Thanks to my neighbor and fellow blogger, Sole, I now have a play list on my blog! How do you like my tunes?!

Since I'm missing my Slugger immensely, here is a clip of his dance moves! I think we did a routine like this in Stingerettes! I sure miss my boy! He comes home Saturday! Woo-hoo! This should put a little spring in your step!

This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!! Take care!

I LOVE Mamma Mary! She is AMAZING and soooo cute! Please tell her we said hello. Hope Grant had a great week - who'd have ever thought you'd let him go for a whole week!
