Weekend

I am elated to report that Cindy had great news last week! Thanks for your prayers! All of her lymph nodes were clear! Praise God from whom all blessings flow!!! The surgery was successful and she is boldly moving forward with the next steps of treatment. She will continue to update her Caring Bridge site through this journey.

On our home front...I had to share this pic of Curls! Mornin' turkey feathers!! I just LOVE her hair!! The video clip is of Curls signing and saying "all done" after breakfast. She is signing up a storm these days.

Slugger is busy, busy. His social calender is booked! He spent Thursday and Friday with Pam and Dennis and had a blast! He is in Rockwall with Papa and MaJ this weekend and will drive home after Cary's tennis tourney tonight. Not to leave Slugger out of the pics, I posted a clip of him hitting a few balls during his tennis lesson. (I'm new at posting video clips, so if it doesn't work, I'll try again.)

Cary and his doubles partner, Scott, are trying to hold onto their #1 ranking in men's open doubles in the state! They have been #1 for 9 years in a row! Amazing, isn't it?! This year has been much more competitive than years past. The competition keeps getting younger, as they surely are not getting older. :) They have today's tournament in Ft Worth then sectionals in San Antonio in Sept and possibly one more tourney in Austin in Nov before wrapping up 10 years of being #1!! We'll have a big shin-dig when they win this year!

Curls and I had a girl's weekend! What fun, but we do miss our boys! That's all for today. I'll post something a bit more insightful next time.
